BarracudaONE

BarracudaONE maximizes threat protection and cyber resilience by unifying layered security defenses and delivering deep, intelligent threat detection and response. The platform brings together Barracuda’s comprehensive portfolio into a single, integrated experience — simplifying security operations and improving visibility across environments.

The most recent improvement to BarracudaONE consists of several updates to our Advanced Threat Protection system, which many of our solutions routinely leverage to support their core functions:

• More effective detection of malicious HTM(L) artifacts and attachments
• Added support for SVG files
• Faster scanning of links and documents

Barracuda Email Protection

Our multi-functional email protection platform has seen lots of enhancements across multiple capabilities. Here are just a few:

• Improved email threat scanning lets you set the scanner to look from 30 to 365 days in the past, reducing the number of false positive results.
• Email spoofing protection now has new fraud weight signals, increasing detections by 150%.
• Incident response is now even faster — as soon as a threat gets human confirmation, all instances are automatically removed.
• Enhanced account takeover detection classifiers, including real-time impossible travel detections to shut down threats even faster.

Barracuda Data Protection

Barracuda Backup and Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup have gotten some really important and useful updates:

• A new Barracuda Backup appliance provides seamless scalability. As your data volume grows, you can scale up your capacity without replacing your appliance.
• Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup now includes protection for Microsoft Entra ID data, including User, Group, Role and Administrative Unit object types.
• Barracuda Cloud-to-Cloud Backup also now scans backed-up data for malware when you go to restore it, so that previously undetected threats don’t get put back into your systems.

Barracuda Managed XDR

Our managed XDR service, overseen by the expert staff of the Barracuda SOC, has added some very useful capabilities:

• New integration lets Barracuda Managed XDR incorporate Microsoft Defender feeds for single- and multi-tenant applications.
• Alerts are now enriched by Barracuda AI, adding context and clarity, significantly reducing time-to-response and optimizing SOC resource utilization.
• Automated Threat Response capability now includes support for feeds from Cisco Meraki, Fortinet FortiGate, SonicWALL, Microsoft 365, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Sophos XGS.

Barracuda Network Protection

Barracuda SecureEdge, our advanced SASE platform, now includes the following capabilities, among other enhancements:

• Barracuda SecureEdge Manager now allows mass user enrollment for Barracuda SecureEdge Access. Admins can save time by enrolling multiple groups and users at the same time.
• New tooling enables migrating web security policies from Barracuda Web Security Gateway to Barracuda SecureEdge, so you can more simply upgrade to stronger, more modern web security.
• A new Barracuda SecureEdge Access onboarding wizard makes it easy and quick to implement ZTNA and start getting value sooner.

Barracuda Application Protection

Last but certainly not least, our web app and API security platform has some new features, including:

• Intelligent login page security detects application login pages and applies targeted security policies to prevent brute-force, credential-stuffing and credential-spraying attacks.
• Improved gen-AI bot protection detects and blocks AI-powered bots in near-real time.
• API discovery has been improved with better identification and cataloging systems that accelerate discovery and provide real-time API monitoring across your environment, to reduce vulnerability windows and strengthen your security posture.
