We’ve recently released a new case study on our Barracuda NG Firewall (NGF). This case study features Geocell, an award-winning telecommunications provider in the country of Georgia. Geocell is on the upper end of the SMB market, with over 500 employees deployed across a territory of nearly 27,000 square miles. The company has a subscription base of two million private and business customers.
Geocell had been running Linux firewalls, but outgrew that solution as the business expanded. Mr. Alexander Kuzmidi is Geocell’s Enterprise IT Unit Head, and was in charge of replacing the firewalls with a solution that met Geocell’s business requirements. After testing a cluster of Barracuda NG Firewalls VX1000 against firewalls from Barracuda competitors, he determined that our solution met his key outcomes.
