Barracuda recognized as a finalist for 2022 CRN Tech Innovator Awards

We are excited to share that Barracuda has been recognized as a finalist for the 2022 CRN Tech Innovator Awards in two categories: Managed Detection and Response and Security Service Edge. With this achievement, we were recognized for Barracuda XDR, an extended visibility, detection, and Response (XDR) platform backed by a 24×7 security operations center (SOC), and Barracuda CloudGen WAN, which provides easy to use SD-WAN, Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), and Security Service Edge solutions.

Each year, the Tech Innovator Awards is an opportunity for CRN to highlight products spanning the IT industry including cloud, infrastructure, security, software, and devices. The awards showcase offerings that bring significant advancements in technology as well as partner growth opportunities.

Barracuda XDR

Barracuda acquired SKOUT Cybersecurity in 2020 and has fully integrated its XDR product into the MSP product portfolio. Barracuda XDR combines technology and a 24×7 SOC, and it provides MSPs with a one-stop-shop to deliver holistic cybersecurity-as-a-service for their customers. With an ever-growing list of integrations, MSPs can protect their customers’ most critical data.

In January 2022, Barracuda announced the integration of Barracuda Email Protection with Barracuda XDR. Barracuda CloudGen WAN

As part of Barracuda’s Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform, Barracuda CloudGen WAN provides easy-to-use SD-WAN, FWaaS, and Security Service Edge solutions. Integrated into Azure Virtual WAN, the Azure Global Network provides cloud-scalable SD-WAN connectivity across multiple regions.

Barracuda CloudGen WAN is an innovative product because it is the only solution available today combining SD-WAN, FWaaS, and private service edge security delivered by an intent-based cloud management console. CloudGen WAN is designed for the requirements of small to medium-sized companies and service providers that need to combine multiple solutions into one and guarantee seamless application availability, regardless of where it is hosted. Barracuda CloudGen WAN enables these organizations to deploy an SD-WAN based cloud on-ramp including full security in a fraction of the time it traditionally takes with traditional solutions.

By deploying the service entry point in Azure Virtual WAN, the solution uses the Microsoft Global Network as a high-performance WAN backbone, quickly interconnecting all offices without long term service contracts.

The solution can easily be deployed next to existing firewalls to optimize cloud access out-of-the-box, with default settings for hundreds of cloud and SaaS apps and offers the benefit of monthly SaaS billings.
