Print Friendly, PDF & Email

SE Labs, an independent testing company based in the UK, recently announced the winners of their 2021 Annual Awards, and they named Barracuda as the winner of Best Email Security Service. The awards are part of third Annual Report from SE Labs, and they recognize the solutions that performed best in 11 different categories.

According to the report: “Each of the following companies or products has demonstrated to SE Labs its excellence in its category. We’ve based our conclusions on a combination of continual public testing, private assessments and feedback from corporate clients who use SE Labs to help choose security products and services.”

Advanced email security testing

In their Advanced Email Security test, SE Labs carried out extensive testing of top email security providers and their ability to detect various threat types, including phishing, social engineering, business email compromise, and scamming. The testing used both examples of attacks found in the wild and targeted attacks their team created in the lab.

“Email attacks are getting more sophisticated, so we expanded our Advanced Email Security test to include threats like business email compromise this year,” said Simon Edwards, SE Labs founder. “Addressing these types of targeted attacks was a strength for Barracuda, which helped it stand out as Best Email Security Service, based on our intelligence-led testing.”

Barracuda provides comprehensive protection against all 13 email threat types, giving organizations the tools they need to not only prevent attacks from getting through, but also detect and respond to any threats that do reach users.
