Next week, our channel team is launching Barracuda Academy, a new addition to our partner enablement program. Barracuda Academy is a series of monthly workshops designed to provide Barracuda partners with tools, training, and resources to successfully sell Barracuda solutions.
Initially focusing on our partners in the Americas, the first Academy series begins June 15 and will feature both technical and sales sessions. June’s deep dive workshops will focus on Barracuda Cloud Application Protection 2.0 and highlight application security basics with Barracuda WAF-as-a-Service. Future Barracuda Academy series will center around other security competencies.
Building on the momentum from Discover 21, our recent virtual partner summit, the Barracuda Academy series will bring our partners another opportunity for enablement and help them grow their business in the networking security market.

In a recent survey, we heard from many partners who said they were looking for more in-depth enablement. This new workshop series was created to help meet that need.
The format of the workshop series was also guided by partner feedback. Many partners shared that it is challenging to get away for a day or two for training, particularly for their technical team members. That’s why Barracuda Academy is designed as a series of shorter workshops spread out over a few weeks, with separate sessions for different time zones. This makes it easier for partners to fit in their schedule, but they’re still getting meaningful, hands-on learning with sessions that build on each other.
