Back in 2015, we realigned our partner programme to include four levels – registered, authorised, preferred and premier – with premier reserved for our channel partners offering exemplary pre-sales and post-sales support and customer service experiences to end users.
This new programme was to ensure and display our commitment to the channel in the UK, with an aim to closely work with our resellers to find ways to deliver new solutions to support mutual growth.
To become a premier level reseller, our partners are required to build a business plan with us and meet a high level of stringent certifications and training.
This month we’re delighted that Altinet has become our first UK partner to meet these demands. They’ve fully demonstrated their commitment to Barracuda, making significant investments in terms of a team of expert engineers including three staff solely dedicated to our product support.
Founded in 2013, Altinet is a specialist IT security and storage value added reseller and managed service provider, which prides itself on its deep technical knowledge in its portfolio of solutions, developed in response to customer demand for more flexibility in how solutions were managed and deployed.
It puts customers at the forefront of its focus, offering professional services including evaluation, installation, configuration and training that strives to simplify IT. Its latest investment brings managed services to those customers who want best-of-breed solutions but don’t have the internal resources in terms of a large IT team to manage them.
With over 300 of its customers using Barracuda products, Daniel Bailey, director at Altinet, wanted to build a strong relationship with us to ensure their customers get the best experience, both technically and commercially: “By enabling our staff to become certified Barracuda experts, it gives our customers the confidence that we offer premier level Barracuda support in the UK.
